DriverCheck.app seems to be missing. Got this AppleScript Error when clicking Check… button:

“The file /Users/adambetts/Desktop/Zeus.app/Contents/Resources/DriverCheck.app does not exist. (1)”

    Hi Cindori an all

Thanks first for saving me over £250 ish on a graphics card from apple direct and the fact it has more ram, PC ATI Radeon HD 4870 that i now have.

I will be sending you a donation at the end of the month for your work without a doubt.

    Just a quick question?

I have not updated to 10.6.4 still on 10.6.3 as I read other users having issues with various things, so decided to wait until you release Zeus 2.0.

I will be giving this a whirl over the next few days, however I’m unsure of where to begin first.

Do i update Mac software or install natit or update firmware with Zeus on Mac first, or go to the driver tab then select ATI 4000 series the OS is that the OS I’m on or the OS i want to upgrade to ect ect ect.

Is or can there be a now new simple how to guide, as the recent ones i would take it as outdated (maybe I’m reading wrong if so my bad) with Zeus 2.0 (on macrumors and the help guide).

Any info would be appreciated, as you can see below I have the first original Mac Pro 1,1 from new and now on 10.6.3, still a newbie compared to your shadow 😉 but we all begin a path that stats somewhere and need help along the way.

    Model Name: Mac Pro
    Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
    Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
    Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 2
    Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
    Memory: 7 GB
    Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz

Also if you want any help should you wish to, or need to, or even want to, with a idiot proof guide for Zeus 2.0 i will help any way i possibly can, or with testing as I still have my original NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT for use in the other slot.

here is guide to update to 10.6.4

    how to update to 10.6.4:

try it like this, from the top

    Install 10.6.4
    Install 10.6.4 QECI from zeus

    no qeci/dualdisplay?
    then
    install https://cindori.org/mapp.zip

    no qeci/dualdisplay?
    then
    install https://cindori.org/dualdvi.zip

When you get QECI, stop the instructions, you are done.

    Hi Cindori !

Do you have plans for including Sapphire ATI HD 5870 in Zeus ?

I use a real Mac Pro 2008 and i have a working system with QE/CI but it would be nice to have the boot screen to.

    Kindly Regards

    Hey Oskar,

Do you have any plans to make Zeus recognize the 320m card? I know the intent is not to allow much in the way of Macbook Pro VS Mac Pro, but with the rather large footprint of devices using the 320m, it would be nice to include that in the package. I’d even consider paying you to include this feature! 🙂 If you are interested, email me!

  18. Cindori 9 years ago

Hello, I will look into this. If you could post the device ID of your GPU it would help. thanks.

    Is Zeus Intel-only?

Just tried running it on a Power Mac G5 (Late 2005) running 10.5.8 in an attempt to overclock an nVidia GeForce 6600LE.

Received the following error when upon scanning for ‘Information’ in the OverClock pane:

“extension /Library/Application Support/Zeus/mapMemoryDriver.kext does not contain code for this architecture (1)”

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Cindori

Can I over clock my MacBook Pro with this tool, I have previously tried and I dont see the clock speeds changing when I apply a new clock and check the clock by pressing “Clock speeds”. Also, I have already edited a kernel extension (kext) so that my 9600M GT GPU runs at its highest (default) clock speed all the time and I have found that by default it is over clocked from 500MHz core to 530MHz core. My system is as follows:
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,3
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
    Number of Processors: 1
    Total Number of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 3 MB
    Memory: 4 GB
    Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
    GPU(s): Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT 256MB GDDR3 and Nvidia GeForce 9400M
