Control Center in Yosemite

Control Center in Yosemite
June 3, 2014 Oskar

Control Center for Mac not only works fine in OSX Yosemite Developer Preview, but actually looks better thanks to improved blur mechanics.

The blur effect can now be increased much higher, making the text and controls much more distinguishable from the background. And it just looks gorgeous.

Control Center Yosemite

There were several rumors that Apple would release a Control Center feature in OSX Yosemite, but that turned out to be inaccurate. This gives new wind to my development of Control Center for Mac, and I have some great ideas for taking this app to the next level.

    Dear All,

Cpntrol center is an amazing tool … Thanks to all. I would like to understand how to do
to hide the window. Using my 3 fingers is not working well and sometimes I would like that this window will disappear quickly.

Thanks for your support. Good work

    Regards, Fabrice

      Hi Fabrice
You can also hide the app by keyboard shortcuts. You can set this shortcut in the settings by clicking on the menu bar icon. I think the default is Ctrl-D.
The upcoming version will offer more easy ways of using the app, and also auto-hide the panel.

Hello! How are you? First off, I would like to say that I love your app? Just a quick question, which is a deal breaker for me: will you make Control Centre use the new widgets feature in notification centre? Thank you!

      Hi Logan! Thank you!
Control Center 2.0 will release soon, and it will work more like Control Center (you can control what widgets you want to display).

Hello! That’s great news! However, I was referring to the widgets in Notification Centre. Would you be able to add some of the widgets from Control Centre to notification centre?
